Places to visit from The Rock B&B Cyril Hart Arboretum

 About 4 miles from the Rock Accommodation and almost next to The Speech house is the Cyril Hart Arboretum which features 180 specimen trees labelled and over 400 others created around an easy and pleasant walk. Free parking

The Arbouretum features on our Forest of Dean Drive and Explore Guide Freely available for loan to our guests timing this visit with the need for a cup of tea is a good idea as the Speech house hotel is on hand for a cuppa! We have a great 2.5 walk from here to the speech house Lake which if you into the BBC's Merlin series is where the scene of the sword in the lake was filmed.
