The Rock B&B has offered welcoming Guest accommodation in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley borders for over 300 years. Visitors agree that form the minute they pull into the car park they know The Rock is a special place to stay. Located close to one of the countries most famous RSPB viewpoints. The Rock is surrounded by spectacular countryside with views to the rear stretching 25 miles and the forest to the front containing miles of paths down to the River Wye

With two anexes of purpose built ensuite Hotel rooms and B&B Studios the Rock offers great value Holidays, short breaks and Bed and Breakfast accommodation in its seven rooms.

the forest view rooms consisting of two double and two twin rooms. and the Valley view rooms consisting of two B&B studios and one Luxury single room

The Valley View Studios have double king size beds , a separate lounge area, and a small kitchen consisting of a full size fridge with freezer compartment and a fan/microvave oven with a small sink. The studios are ideal for a luxury anniversary break where the fridge is ideal to keep your champagne. Alternatively for those staying a little longer the additional facilities are ideal to prepare a snack or ready meal. The Ruardean studio has its own balcony and dual aspect views over fantastic scenery and the clearwell studio has its own patio area.

The Forest View rooms offer comfortable and stylish accommodation and like the forest view rooms have their own direct access sepatate from the owners accommodation meaning you can come and go as you please

The Rock Bed and breakfast accommodation has developed a great reputaion for its great breakfasts prepared using Locally sourced ingredients when possible , Free Rang Eggs either home produced by the Rocks own hens or locally sourced free range. Full english vegetarian breakfasts are also a speciality with Lindy producinhg her own home made veggie sausages

You can't stay at the rock without venturing a little in to the forest of dean , with walks atarting just 30 paces away from the Rock along the Wysis Way and just a short distance from the Wye Valley Walk. The current owners Chris and Lindy produce their own walking guides as well as having all the published ones for the local area. It is possible to walk some of the best stretches of the wye valley walk from the Door via circular walks. and several other stretches are within a few miles drive.
